Contact & Find Us

The best way to learn about Musokai is to come and watch a class. Here's where and when we train, and how to reach us beforehand.

Training time and place

  • Location Rain City Fencing Center
  • Day Wednesday evenings
  • Time Evening practice (please confirm current times before your first visit)
  • Cost First visit free — come watch or borrow a practice sword
Before your first visit

Training times can shift around holidays and seminars, so it's worth checking with us before you set out. If you arrive a little early, someone can show you the basics of etiquette before class begins.

Get in touch

To ask about visiting, membership, or seminars, contact the dojo manager. An instructor is also happy to answer questions before or after any class. If you're new, you might first read Your First Class and Getting Started — they answer most of what beginners ask.

Looking for a dojo closer to home?

If the Pacific Northwest is too far, there are many fine iaido dojos elsewhere. A federation such as the AUSKF can help you find recognised instruction in your area, so you train somewhere your grading will count.
